Estimated Wait Time

Estimated Wait Time (EWT) computes the approximate amount of time a task has to wait in a queue before being answered by an agent. It is calculated for each Queue. For computing EWT, all statistically valid samples (average of wait times of those tasks that got connected to an agent in a one minute interval is one sample) for last X minutes (refer lookbackMinutes parameter) are fetched and mean value of those samples are used as EWT.

For determining the statistically valid samples, the parameters maxCV and minValidSamples, both of which are optional for this API and has default values , are used. maxCV parameter indicates the maximum value for 'Coefficient of Varience' of the wait times among those tasks that got connected to an agent in each one minute interval , below which that sample (refer the definition of sample mentioned above) is considered valid.

minValidSamples indicates the minimum percentage of valid samples (with respect to total number of samples) in the specified lookbackMinutes minutes (X minutes in the description above )

In case the dataset does not have enough valid samples, EWT can not be computed and this API's response will not have the EWT value. Requires one of the following scopes cjp:config, cjp:config_read.
