Media Sharing Notification APIs enable onboarded Media Sharing Providers (MSP) to send real-time notifications to Webex users during active calls. These notifications appear directly in the user's Webex app, allowing MSPs to alert users about potential risks, security concerns, or other important information detected during call analysis.

Typical use cases include:

• Alerting users about potential fraud or scam calls
• Notifying users of suspicious caller behavior
• Providing real-time security assessments during calls
• Displaying custom warnings or informational messages

Prerequisites:

• The MSP's Service App must be authorized for the target member's organization with the spark-admin:telephony_media_sharing_notification scope
• The MSP must be connected to the target call (media sharing for the MSP is enabled for the member and active for the call)

Important Notes:

• Notifications are only delivered to active calls currently connected to the MSP
• The memberId and callId must match the values provided in the call metadata delivered to the MSP
• Color choices are customizable and do not imply specific risk levels
