RE: Developer SiteID/Partner ID
toggle
Hello,

I am a third party developer looking to build pre-built
add-ons for Webex clients. Do I need my own Site ID and/or Partner ID
that I would "hard code" in my application or would I need to have each
client obtain their own Site ID to configure in my application? I saw
another post mention something about a "dedicated" site ID/partner ID
for an annual fee but I would like more information about this.

Can someone point me in the right direction or offer any other guidance?

Thanks!

Hi Adam,

In order to use the APIs on a production WebEx site requires the Gold Developer Plan that will get you your dedicated siteID and partnerID,  It also will give you access to the developers service support team and a dedicated development site.  At the very least you would need to contact a sales rep about gold developer plan to get a dedicated dev site.  You're also free to use the sandbox site found under the support tab on this site, but there are restrictions on the sandbox site.  The main ones being no site admin access and 4 members max with 20 minutes meetings .  With the dedicated dev site you will have site access, but the meetings are still limited to 4 members at 20 minutes.

Thank you

Thanks for the quick answer Kingsley! I'll follow up with a sales rep then.
